Even though it is Spring, our weather has not been very plant friendly, but we are not going to let that get the best of us. My husband has tended to our garden so far this year, as our youngest child consumes most of my time, and has a variety of fruit and veggies growing. The tomatoes, peppers, radishes, and lettuce have all started growing well. One of the two blueberry bushes he gave to me for Mother’s Day has died but the other seems to be doing great so far.
On the other hand, our corn, green beans and squash have been seeded for over two weeks and nothing has sprouted. I’ve read that these “three sisters” compliment each other while growing, though I won’t find out for myself, if our area keeps acting like winter.
Are you growing a garden? What are your favorite fruits and vegetables?

Last year I didn’t start my vegetable garden until mid-July, so this is my first “full” year. It will be a fun challenge to try to eat everything that I grow! I’m most excited about the 7 dozen (!!!) strawberry plants I have this year. And the blueberries, raspberries, and thornless blackberries. I’m berry excited, indeed π
That is awesome Aubbie! 7 Dozen Strawberry plants! I would be in my glory lol. This is my first year doing berries of any kind on my own and one of the plants has died due to it being dug up by an animal, though I am hopeful for my second plant π We have been gardening for a few years now, some years have been more productive than others though I refuse to give up! There is not much that compares to the rewarding feeling of eating your own food β€ Best of luck, & Thank You for having a look π
